In a cattle production the quality and quantity of grassland has a big impact in the economy of the farm. The quality and quantity is always changing and there is always new results in this subject. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the economy in the results of researchseries L6-560. I have compared how the farmeconomy in roughageproduction effects growing one year high yield grassland, compared to traditional three year grassland. My issue: is there any economy in growing one year high yield grassland compared to traditional three year grassland? The field research series includes two researchseries. One research on Uddetorp and one on Rådde. The research was founded in year 2001 where they compared one year grassfarming with three year grassfarming. To reach a so fair economic result as possible of the two growing systems, I have used AgroVäst feeding application to value the chemical analyse and function in the feedingplan. The figures are averages in the two research results. Each average yield in the two research have to be optimised in to the given conditions, in the application basic functions. The calculation on growing system, shows that the one year growing system gives a growingnetto on 8850 SEK during the three year. The three year grassland gives a growingnetto on 14500 SEK witch is 5650 SEK better than the one year during the there year grassland. The work shows that the one year grassland has a higher growing cost than the three year grassland. The establishment is a big cost, even the higher yield doesn't cover up the higher establish costs. Because of the low hardy has the first harvest of the one year grassland been lower. The research series continues where the one year grassland is harvest every year, maybe the economic results hade been different if I choice those results.
